Dracula: The Danse Macabre on Spotify

Greetings Wolf 359 friends and fans! Rina here breaking in with an unscheduled transmission. In case you’ve missed it, there’s an exciting new audio drama from the minds behind Wolf 359 airing now: Dracula: The Danse Macabre.

This incredible reimagining of Bram Stoker’s Dracula stars the vocal talents of Evangeline Young and Peter Coleman, with original music by Alan Rodi, and sound design by the incomparable Jeffrey Nils Gardner. And with script editing by Sarah Shachat and writing by Gabriel Urbina, this is an absolute A-Team of audio fiction talent, and they do not disappoint!

Let me tell you guys, I haven’t had my waking hours consumed by a show like this in a long time. I mean, the suspense, the twists, the cliffhangers that feel like a personal attack. I could gush about Dracula: The Danse Macabre for hours, but that would only deprive you of time you could spend listening to the show yourself. The first two episodes are available now, with episode 3 coming on December 11, so I bid you run, don’t walk, to your favorite podcatcher to subscribe now.

And, since I’m sure my Wolf 359 Daily friends love some behind-the-scenes content, you should know that Gabriel will be hosting a live listening party and creator commentary for Episode 2: “A Stranger In a Strange Land” on his Patreon. The live listen will be Wednesday, December 4, at 8:00 PM Eastern, but video on demand will be available any time for Patreon members.

I am loving this show so, so much, and I hope you will too. You can find out more about the show on their website, draculathedansemacabre.com, or follow them on Twitter or Bluesky at DraculaTDM. If you’ve already started listening, let us know how emotionally devastated you are so far; the true Long Story Short Productions experience. ❤️

That’s all for now! We’ll see you on December 22 for Wolf 359’s “Am I Alone Now?” and in the meantime, hope you enjoy Dracula: The Danse Macabre!
